Lineup of Food Festival in Croatia 2022
1. Day 1 – 30th October, Sunday
This food-based Croatia Festival will kick off from the luxurious 4-star Hotel Academia in the heart of Zagreb, a few steps from the city’s most popular boulevard of shops and eateries. The group will be picked up in style and taken to the picturesque town of Kutjevo in the Slavonia area of eastern Croatia, which is famous for its centuries-old winemaking tradition.

2. Day 2 – 31st October, Monday

After working up an appetite, you’ll enjoy a picnic in the park before visiting the House of the Pannonian Sea to gain insight into the region’s history and culture.

3. Day 3 – 1st November, Tuesday
Karanac, in the center of Slavonia, is your destination for the following three nights, deep within continental Croatia. The Tri Mudraca Inn, where you’ll be staying, is a stunningly modernized Habsburg manor house.

4. Day 4 – 2nd November, Wednesday
Our day will begin with a visit to a leading producer of Croatia’s most famous sausage, “Kulen,” for a guided tour and tasting. From there, we’ll travel to Baranjska Kuca, where you’ll get a first-hand look at the “Street of Forgotten Time” and see seven restored barns that now house workshops for everything from pottery to woodworking to weaving to barbering.

5. Day 5 – 3rd November, Thursday
We’ll kick off the day by exploring Kopa’ki Rit, one of Europe’s most significant, extensive, and visually appealing Wetlands, which is home to the Tikve Castle. The castle was originally built towards the century’s close. It was erected by the Habsburg nobility of the Teschen family.

6. Day 6 – 4th November, Friday

The cathedral of St. Peter in Jackovo is the greatest asset of the city and was deemed by Pope John XXIII to be the most magnificent church between Venice and Constantinople because of its extraordinary frescoes.

7. Day 7 – 5th November, Saturday
First, you’ll take a walking tour around the city’s historic district, stopping at the Dolac Farmer’s Market, the largest in all of Croatia, where visitors can get a feel for the market’s seasonal offerings on the busiest day of the week—Saturday. There, we will have a quick taste of some of the best meats and cheeses in Croatia, provided by one of the country’s top cheese producers.
